Ylang Ylang 1 is prized for its exotic, expensive floral scent. It is also a well-known aphrodisiac. Hijau Philosophy's Ylang Ylang 1 is the first distillation of the oil, and also the most sought after scent for this exotic flower in the perfumery and beauty care world.

It calms when stressed with sedative effects. Uplifts mood and comforts with its deep, warming scent. Ylang Ylang's antiseptic properties make it useful for oily and combination skin types.

Scent: A well-rounded and refined scent with exotic, rich- floral aroma. Light to golden yellow clear liquid


Method of usage:  Less is more with this strong, lingering oil. Add 1-2% of oils to base oils/creams for face/body. Diffuse between 2-3 drops (every 100ml of water). Blend with citrus, wood and herbaceous oils to balance its heady scent such bergamot, grapefruit, lavender, neroli, rose geranium, copaiba balsam, petitgrain and peppermint oils.

  • Rose geranium can cause sensitivity in some people (balances the hormonal system), it should be avoided during pregnancy

Store oils in a dry place away from direct sunlight and heat (preferably below 30 °C). Bottle caps must be screwed on tightly after each use.
