Frankincense, harvested the same way for thousands of years, is one of the most sacred herbs in ayurveda valued for its multiple uses in cosmetics, incense and religious rituals of ancient civilizations. Kohl, (a black powder used in ancient Egypt) is made from charred frankincense. In parts of the Arab world, frankincense is used for attracting angels and dispelling evil spirits.
Frankincense serrata, yields high in a-thujene (71.74%) which is prized for its antiarthritic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic properties. In topical application, it helps with joint pain relief and muscle aches and pains. Useful for respiratory issues (asthma, cough, bronchitis), hair loss, hemorrhoids and irregular mensus. Helps provide spiritual support, comfort and bring a sense of peace through deep relaxation. Soothes nervous tension and depression.

Method of usage: Add between 2-3% to base oils/creams/lotions (please refer to Skin Dilution Chart) for skin care or massage purposes. Diffuse between 3-4 drops (every 100ml of water) and enjoy its relaxing and calming effects. Blends well with Bergamot, Lemon, Lime, Pine, Rosemary, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Cedarwood atlas, Lavender and Roman chamomile.
For external use only. Frankincense seratta is a non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing oil. However, do keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Pregnant, nursing mothers and medication users should consult a health professional prior to application. Always conduct a patch test.
Store oils in a dry place away from direct sunlight and heat (preferably below 30 °C). Bottle caps must be screwed on tightly after each use.
